MAJOR WORKS AND LEGAL INITIATIVES

Documentation & Compliance:

All property-related papers, including Gazette notifications and survey details, have been updated under legal supervision.

Electricity Meter Regularization:

Shifted from prepaid to normal billing system through due process, saving costs and improving transparency.

Civil Case Management:

Income Tax notice (DIN ITBA/AST/S/148_1/2025-26/1077967033) was successfully countered through professional legal representation.

Transparency:

Full financial records maintained & open for inspection upon prior notice.

Land Protection:

Continuous engagement with BDA and Waqf Board to protect Taha Qabristan’s sanctity; 10 gunta land restored.

Legal Safeguards:

Preventive filing in the High Court for long-term security of Masjid and Graveyard assets.

Masjid-e-Taha Management Committee has provided a freezer box for the deceased, available free of cost for community use by Musallis and local residents.

COMMUNITY & SOCIAL WELFARE INITIATIVES

Ramzan & Bakrid Congregations:

Massive Eid prayers held at JP Park accommodating 5,000–6,000 worshippers with official permissions. Interfaith Harmony: Distribution of dates, dry fruits, and biryani to non-Muslim leaders every Eid-ul-Fitr. Medical & Educational Support: Scholarships, health camps, and youth guidance sessions conducted regularly. Taha Bait-ul-Maal Committee: Plays an active role in welfare drives, food kit distribution, dialysis of poor patients and financial assistance for needy families.

Support to PhD Scholars:

A group of PhD students from North Karnataka, belonging to economically weaker families, met the Masjid-e-Taha Management Committee seeking help over the non-release of their government scholarships. Responding swiftly, the Taha Committee took up the matter with Mr. Naseer Ahmed, Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, who immediately called the concerned government official and instructed prompt action to resolve the issue.

EDUCATIONAL & RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES

Kannada Kalika Kendra:

Established in 2022 for linguistic empowerment of local youth.

Madrasa-e-Taha Arabia:

Conducts daily classes for 100+ children in Qur’an, Islamic Studies, and Urdu. Evening Maktab at Qabristan & Setup of Musalla: Encourages grassroots Islamic education for rural children.

Spiritual Events:

Regular observance of Meraj-un-Nabi, Shab-e-Barat, & community prayers for rain.

SUMMARY AND IMPACT (2022–25)

Over the 3 years, Masjid-e-Taha has emerged as a model of faith, accountability, and service. From defending Waqf properties to hosting inclusive religious gatherings, the Management Committee has worked tirelessly with sincerity, ensuring every rupee is spent transparently and every initiative strengthens the Ummah and society at large.

The term witnessed:
Strengthening of property rights and legal compliance. Growth in educational and religious activities. Expansion of social outreach and medical support. Financial transparency and self-reliance through community participation.
